FEMALE FRONTED PROGRESSIVE ROCK
Seraina Telli formed Dead Venus in early 2015. For a year or so before this, she combined lead vocals for German neo-prog band Surrilium with a solo career but decided she needed her own team to develop her ideas. However, Seraina’s unique brand and style made finding the right people a challenge. Mike Malloth (drums) answered the call and recommended bassist Andre Gaertner to complete the trio.

The rumor has it that she’s a frontwoman who’s not only ready to rock but additionally is capable of putting a spell on the audience in a very charming and charismatic way. She is multidimensional and brings the message across in many ways; wether she lets her voice sound full throttle or just whispers, while simultaneously playing the guitar or keyboards.

If metallic and loud or quiet and slow, he always finds the right pattern! Mike is an experienced drummer who has a lot of knowledge about various styles of music. Maybe that’s why his drumming is dynamic, creative and always exactly what the music needs.
